1. Why do I need to provide battery serial numbers (SN)?
OSW records the model name and serial numbers (SN) of each battery during warehouse inbound and outbound processes.
When submitting a GreenDeal STC application, the battery model and SNs must be provided for these details to be automatically cross-checked against OSW’s database to verify that the batteries originate from OSW inventory.
2. How is eligibility for the Promotional Price determined?
A battery is eligible for the OSW Next-Day Payment Promotional Price if its module SNs can be matched in the OSW database.
The promotional price applies when the scanned battery SNs can be found in the OSW database. (Please refer to eligibility scenarios below)
If any scanned SN is already linked to another job, or has been previously lodged, the corresponding battery module will not be eligible for the Promotional Price.
Applicable period: Battery jobs lodged on or after 1 October 2025, and on or before 31 October 2025.
3. How is the final Promotional Price calculated? The final Promotional Price is determined by deducting a fixed CER STC creation fee of $0.47 per STC from the promotional price.
These prices apply only to battery jobs settled via OSW and selecting Next-Day Payment.
