Overview
Once VEEC access has been enabled and the project information has been prepared, Retailers can create a VEEC Job from the GreenDeal Retailer Portal.
This guide explains how to complete the required information during Job creation, including:

📝 Step 1|Create a New Solar VEEC Job
Go to the Job Creation page from the Retailer Portal.
When VEEC access is enabled, the VEEC Work Type option will be available.
Select the required VEEC Job type and continue with Job creation.
📄 Step 2|Complete VEEC Requirement Confirmation
During the Job creation process, Retailers need to confirm the VEEC-related requirements before continuing.
Before proceeding:
Download the required VEEC Consumer Documents.
Send the documents to the Owner / Consumer.
Keep evidence of the sent email.
Upload the email screenshot as Compliance Evidence.
👤 Step 3|Complete Owner Details
Complete the Owner Information based on the project details.
For VEEC Jobs:
✅ Property Type must be:
Commercial
School
Retailers also need to confirm: Is a Scheduled Activity Premises?
Select the option based on the actual project information.
📍 Step 4|Complete Installation Address
Enter the actual installation address.
⚠️ VEEC Jobs require an installation address located in: Victoria (VIC)
Make sure the address information is accurate before continuing.
⚙️ Step 5|Complete System Information
Complete the system information according to the actual installation.
For VEEC Jobs, pay attention to the following fields:
🔌 Connection Type
VEEC Jobs only support:
✅ On-Grid
🔋 Battery Connection
If applicable, confirm: Is the system connected to a battery?
Select the option based on the actual system configuration.
🔧 System Mounting Type
For Jobs containing both STC PV and VEEC:
The system mounting information may need to be completed separately for:
STC PV System
VEEC System
🔢 Step 6|Complete NMI Information
Enter the valid NMI for the project.
📌 Important:
The same NMI can only be used once for a VEEC application.
If the NMI has already been used in another VEEC Job, GreenDeal will display a validation message.
☀️ Step 7|Add Equipment Information
Add the actual equipment details for the project.
Complete:
Panel information
Inverter information
Before saving, confirm that the system capacity meets the VEEC requirements.
⚡ Panel Capacity Check
Panel Capacity requirements depend on the selected Job combination.
Please refer to: 02|📝 Solar VEEC Job Requirements Before Creation for the detailed capacity requirements.
⚡ Inverter Capacity Check
For all Jobs containing VEEC:
Total Inverter Capacity must be≥ 30kW
If the capacity does not meet the requirement, GreenDeal will display a validation message.
👷 Step 8|Assign Installer / Designer / Electrician
Select the project participants:
📌 GreenDeal will display the VIC Registered label for users who have completed the relevant registration.
📎 Step 9|Upload Available Attachments now or later
During Job creation, Retailers can upload available supporting documents now or later.
📌 Please note:
Some documents may be added after Job creation, but must be completed before the VEEC Job can be lodged.

🎉 Step 10|Review and Create the VEEC Job
Review all entered information before creating the Job.
Confirm:
✅ Owner Details
✅ Installation Address
✅ System Information
✅ Equipment Details
✅ Assigned Users
Click Create Job to complete the Job creation process.
💡 Tip
To avoid validation issues during Job creation:
✅ Confirm the project meets VEEC requirements before starting.
✅ Enter accurate system and equipment information.
✅ Make sure assigned Installer / Designer / Electrician details are correct.
