Use this guide to prepare the key Supporting Documents in advance.

📂 Common Supporting Documents

For BESS3, BESS4 and BESS5, commonly required Supporting Documents may include:

  • Nomination Form

  • Tax Invoice to Purchaser + Purchase Cost

  • Payment Evidence

  • DNSP Approval + Activity Date

  • Council Planning Approval

  • Installer Declaration

  • CCEW / Certificate-related Documents

  • Panel Invoice or CCEW — where applicable

  • Other Supporting Documents required by GreenDeal

🔋 BESS Activity-Specific Documents

🏢 BESS3

Pay particular attention to the Strata Plan and other applicable strata-related evidence.

🏪 BESS4

Make sure the Electricity Bill and applicable Commercial Project Supporting Documents are available.

🏭 BESS5

The UL9540A Test Certificate is a key Supporting Document for BESS5.

📌 We recommend obtaining the applicable UL9540A Test Certificate from the Battery Manufacturer before lodging the Job.

🔋 BESS2

BESS2 document requirements may vary depending on the Job and how the BESS2 Activity was created.

Depending on the project, prepare the applicable:

  • Nomination Form

  • Battery-related Documents

  • Installation-related Documents

  • Supporting Evidence

  • Installer-related Documents

  • Other documents required by GreenDeal

☀️ Jobs with Solar Panels

Where Solar Panel information is included in the project, additional Supporting Documents may be required, such as:

  • Panel Invoice

  • CCEW

  • Other Solar-related Supporting Evidence

📌 Requirements depend on the BESS Activity, Work Type Combination and actual project information.

☀️ Jobs with Solar Panels

Where the Job includes new or existing Solar Panel information, additional Supporting Documents may be required.

These may include:

  • Panel Invoice

  • CCEW

  • Other Solar-related Supporting Evidence required by GreenDeal

✍️ Nomination Form

For BESS3, BESS4 and BESS5, the Nomination Form must be signed before any Installation Work Commences.

⚠️ If the Nomination Form is only signed after the installation has been completed, the PRC application will be invalid.
